About me

Marina Elizabeth Muradian was born in 1975 in the small town of Tokmak, Kyrgyzstan. She grew up in the capital, surrounded by theatre, opera, and ballet. Inspired by these surroundings, at a young age, she studied piano and, through taking art classes, developed her love of painting.

As Marina studied for her bachelor's degree in Business Management and then gained her teaching  qualification, her art was somewhat left on the sidelines until she felt she was able to dedicate herself to it full-time.

For the past twelve years, she has been teaching piano to both kids and adults. In 2020, at the height of the Coronavirus pandemic, she finally took up the brush again herself and rediscovered her love of painting. marina likes to use different techniques in her painting, much of which draws inspiration from the beauty of ballet and the cultural beauty of women.

In 2021, having attended the prestigious International Art Festiva (1ER Festival International De Artes Visuales Monte Plata 21), she was awarded first place in her category.

Later that year, she also attended an international virtual exhibition named "Art For Art", and participated in the Virtual Art Workshop social Group, presented by  Fabiana Macaluso.

As a visual artist, Marina also participated in a live exhibition in Dubai (NOFILTERDXB), in 2021.

Most recently, Marina has exhibited at the World Art Dubai event. She continues to exhibit across the world and regularly receives awards for her work. You can check out her awards, here.
